About the Series
Inspired by stories from the Bible, the Olivia the Brave book series (or as has been known in the Jury household, “The Olivia Story”) began in the early 2010s as a story the author would tell to his young daughter to help her overcome her fears.
Once the storytelling started, author Jesse Jury couldn’t stop writing them down. One day, greatly dismayed at the selection of young adult fiction stories available at the local bookstore, the decision was made: Jesse decided to publish his stories. What had originally began as a handful of stories between father and daughter gradually grew into a series of epic science fiction / fantasy novels, through which God’s goodness could be relayed to an audience that may not be otherwise familiar with it.
About the Author
Jesse Jury was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He has been married to his high school sweetheart Amy since 2003, and is proud to call himself father to his own very real Olivia.
Jesse has been writing stories since he was 10. He considers this book series the finest thing he has ever written, and looks forward to the day when he can call the entire eighteen book series “finished.”
